CEC Systems is excited to announce that the COLLAPSECON container design and process patents as well as the COLLAPSECON container interlocking product and process patents have now been granted in Australia, with current international expansion underway.
Thanks to the great support of AusIndustry, CEC Systems have now had multiple patents granted by IP Australia for the COLLAPSECON system.
“The granting of these intellectual property protections is a very important strategic achievement for the for the company,” stated CEO, Nicholas Press. “The granting of these patents by IP Australia recognizes CEC Systems’ commitment to innovation and the development of new technologies in support the global shipping and logistics industries”.
Since 2017, AusIndustry has been providing expert advice and grant funding to CEC Systems through their Accelerating Commercialisation grant, an Australian Government initiative to help commercialise novel products, processes and services. As part of the company’s AC grant, up to 50% of the costs associated with the development and execution of the Company’s patents has been supported by AusIndustry.
Press went on to say “The costs associated with developing and prosecuting patents is not small, but these activities are very important for any company developing new technologies. The AC grant has assisted greatly in helping a small Australian company achieve a global level of IP protection.”
